I have been working on slab built pieces. inspired by landscapes.

This sculpture is made from s/t paper clay and ideally should be displayed in the garden. It was influenced from Chuhuly's work seen at Kew Gardens
I made this piece in the traditional african style of red earthenware clay & smoked fired, it also shows a technique of burnishing.
My brother was making a Japanese pond for his garden so I made him this 'pagoda' which is also made from s/t clay & painted with oxide/underglaze.
These bowls shown have interesting markings that could represent varies natural forms so are painted using natural colours & include varies sizes.
